These cables contain a series capacitor, reducing the antenna's system capacitance - causing the antenna system capacity to fall within an acceptable range to the Delco radio receiver.

Caution: Passing through any current through the cable may short out the capacitor, causing the cable to be inoperative. Continuity must be checked with an instrument that measures capacity - not an Ohmmeter.

Removing the installed cable may cause the female contact to become disengaged from the cable. Carefully tuck the wire and contact back in place should this happen. Do not be alarmed by extra conductor wire as slack is usually provided to allow for cables that may have stretched when fitted.

Note: This cable was run down the console, behind the seat, and back to the antenna.
